Windmill International, Inc. is an active participant
in the US Government’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)
program. By applying local New Hampshire technical talent to critical
development needs, Windmill has provided solutions to Government agency
challenges while building a strong regional technical confederation.
Today, Windmill is entering Phase II work for two
important USAF requirements: C2EASE, a collaborative software package
used to better manage complex programs; and, a Tactical User Antenna
(TUA) that is global broadcast service (GBS) ready and manportable.
(These efforts are described in our
Programs section.)
Windmill’s current technology strengths include
collaborative software solutions, integrated digital environments,
knowledge management, and antenna design and development for USAF and
NATO applications.

Windmill is always looking for small companies,
particularly those in the New Hampshire, Massachusetts, or Western
Washington areas, who have innovative technologies and are interested in
applying those to solutions to US Government agency issues.
Windmill routinely reviews the Federal Agency topic
solicitations for possible opportunities. When a match occurs, Windmill
works with other companies to develop an innovative solution as well as
a work plan to demonstrate both the feasibility of the solution to meet
the requirements of the agency and how the solution can also be
commercialized. Windmill leverages its more than
22 years experience in Government
contracting to maximize the team’s chances of success. If successful in
the bid, Windmill then manages the effort through delivery of the
feasibility study through the solution final development.
As a last step in the SBIR process, Windmill seeks
collaboration with larger companies that can assist our technology teams
with commercializing the fruits of the SBIR development process.
