Paid Leave

Windmill Members accrue a generous allotment of personal/vacation time and sick time. Windmill honors all of the Federal holidays during the calendar year.

Medical Insurance

Medical coverage is offered to full-time Members and their eligible dependents.

As an alternative to the company sponsored medical insurance plans, a Member may choose to “opt out” and provide their own health care coverage through another plan. If a Member chooses to “opt out” and there is an associated cost, a portion may be reimbursed by Windmill.

Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)

Reimbursement of a portion of medical deductibles is offered to Members on the company sponsored medical plan when the deductible is required for certain services.

Dental Insurance

Dental coverage is offered to full-time Members and their eligible dependents. Windmill does not reimburse Members who use another insurance carrier.

Long Term Care (LTC) Insurance

Windmill offers a voluntary Long-Term Care insurance product. Eligibility for coverage includes: the Member, spouses, and children over 18 years of age, grandparents and in-laws.

Basic Life Insurance

Windmill provides basic life insurance to all full-time Members.

Supplemental Life Insurance

Windmill offers a supplemental life insurance program to all full time Members.

Short Term Disability (STD) Insurance

Windmill provides Short Term Disability coverage for all of its full-time Members.  A portion of the Member’s salary is paid out for an illness or disabling accident that is not work related. 

Long Term Disability (LTD) Insurance

Windmill provides Long Term Disability coverage for all of its full-time Members.  A portion of the Member’s salary is paid out for an illness or disabling accident suffered on or off the job. Benefit payments begin after the industry standard of 90 days.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)

Members may participate in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA). This allows the Member to set aside pre-tax dollars for medical, dental and child care expenses not covered by other insurance.

Commuter Choice Flexible Spending Account

Available to Members to cover eligible transportation costs.

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)

Windmill is proudly an employee-owned company.  Eligibility and vesting requirement s apply.

Simplified Employee Pension – Individual Retirement Account (SEP-IRA)

Windmill contributes an amount, equal to a set percentage of each Member’s salary, into a SEP-IRA.  Members are enrolled and 100% vested on their date-of-hire.

Employee Assistance Program

Members are provided with a confidential program intended to be used as a resource for the resolution of personal and work related issues.

Tuition Reimbursement

Members are eligible to receive pre-approved tuition reimbursement.

Professional Memberships

Members are eligible to receive reimbursement for professional membership dues.
